It’s that time of the year again for the Southwest’s premiere horror convention. Texas Frightmare Weekend is hosting its 11th event at the Hyatt Regency DFW. If you are a fan of all things horror, this is the convention to checkout.
At this year’s convention, attendees can meet special guests from some of the top horror movies, such as: Nightmare On Elm Street, Friday The 13th, Scream, Halloween, and CandyMan. Actor and award winning special make-up effects artist Tom Savini will be at the convention. But that’s not all. Also making appearances, The Warrior’s actors James Remar and Michael Beck. Fans can also meet legendary horror filmmaker George A. Romero. Oh, did I mention that Rock and Roll Hall Famer Peter Criss will be there as well? That is right. The Catman, founding member of Kiss, will be at this year’s convention.
On Sunday, you can catch the premiere screening of Daylight’s End. Daylight’s End just premiered at the 2016 Dallas International Film Festival. The film will introduce you to the world of Zompires. Daylight’s End was filmed right here in Dallas, and stars Johnny Strong (Fast and The Furious, Sinner and Saints), Lance Henriksen (Aliens, Pumpkinhead), and Louis Mandylor (My Big Fat Greek Wedding). Henriksen will also be a special guest this year at the convention.
